David Lanegan is a lifelong musician with over twelve years of performance and recording experience across genres including jazz, punk, folk, blues, and metal. His broad musical background gives him strong versatility as both a performer and educator. He studied at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA through the Running Start program, further strengthening his musical foundation and academic training. In addition to performing, he has over a year of experience as a guitar technician, working with guitar and bass setups, repairs, and maintenance, giving him practical technical knowledge that directly supports his teaching. He also has experience in arts education through his work as Inland Poet Laureate, where he developed and led educational programming for students from preschool through college age, building strong communication and instructional skills. He is an engaging, adaptable educator who is confident working with students of all ages and skill levels, with a focus on clear communication and practical musical growth.
