Rachel has been honing her musicianship for over twenty years. As a young child, she discovered a passion for music and devoted the next decade of her life to becoming a music educator. She graduated with honors from Pacific Lutheran University where she earned a Bachelor in Music Education with an emphasis in K-12 choral and general music. She then went on to earn a Master in Education with an emphasis on learning and technology from Western Governors University. Rachel has been teaching Choir, Music Theory, and General Music in public schools for almost ten years. She also directs an adult women’s barbershop choir (Jet Cities Chorus) out of Federal Way. Though she specializes in vocal lessons in any genre, she loves teaching other instruments as well. Rachel believes that every human is capable of learning to create music regardless of prior experience or age.
