Susan is a versatile musician who began studying violin at the age of 6 and piano at the age of 9. During her high school years, she served as the principal violist in the MMEA Central District Senior Orchestra and was a featured soloist with the school chamber ensemble. Susan earned dual degrees in violin performance and music education from the Eastman School of Music and completed additional coursework in music theory and composition at Berklee College of Music. She has garnered acclaim as a winner of several national violin competitions and has performed at renowned music festivals across Europe and Asia. In addition to her musical pursuits, Susan holds a master's degree in nonprofit management from Columbia University and has worked with various arts organizations to promote music education and community outreach programs. Susan is dedicated to fostering creativity and technical excellence in her students while instilling a lifelong appreciation for music.
